Effective Date: January 29, 2018
This Fair Use Policy (FUP) forms an integral part of the Knowbly Learning Systems, Inc. (“Knowbly”) Terms of Service between you and Knowbly that govern your use of Knowbly software and the services. Terms used but not defined below, shall have the meaning outlined in the Knowbly Terms of Service. If you do not agree with this FUP, do not use any of the company software or services.
Our Services are used to build content utilizing a combination of uploaded assets and natively authored content. There are limits for storage associated with each type of user account (expressed as “Records”), and these limits were designed to avoid an overly complex or restrictive form of agreement. At the same time, these limits are based on expectations for reasonable use, and the FUP outlines the normal ranges in which it is anticipated that a typical user will operate when using the Services. You agree not to misuse the Services or cause unnecessary sustained burden on the shared-service infrastructure. As such, and to ensure the uninterrupted functionality of the shared-service infrastructure, we enforce technical limits, and the provision of Services is subject to conformance with the FUP.
The Bandwidth quotas listed below are measured on a monthly basis and reset to zero on the first day of a new month. If you require higher limits, consider upgrading to another service tier. The Enterprise tier includes the ability to purchase custom usage-quotas for your organization.
Technical limits and quotas as applicable to each tier as listed:
If your service usage exceeds the preceding limits, we reserve the right to take corrective action, including but not limited to the throttling of the service, temporarily suspending or, when other options are unavailable, terminating your account.
Unless agreed otherwise in the service contract, organizations with Enterprise tier access are subject to the following fair use limits:
If you require higher limits, contact your account manager to discuss available options.
We may modify this Fair Use Policy from time to time, and will post the most current version on our site. If a modification meaningfully reduces your rights, we'll notify you in accordance with the procedures set forth in our Terms of Service.
